I am currently a Visiting Fellow working with the Department of Anthropology at Purdue University. Our project has involved creating a "Space for Practice,"a state-of-the-art applied anthropology lab with an active practitioner-student interface. I have been collaborating closely with faculty members Sherri Briller and Zoe Nyssa, as well as design anthropologist student Claire Sigworth. Our focus has targeted both the design and use of the lab’s physical and virtual spaces. The one-year commitment has quickly spilled over into a second year because I have been finding the effort so exciting. The lab is now operational, promoting interactions related to research studies, career advice, and job placement.
