Anthropology's Career Readiness Commission and Fordham University are inviting you to a one-day, Building Careers in Anthropology Conference on Friday, May 13, 2022. It is an in-person event. You can register here.
This conference is designed with three target audiences in mind: anthropology students (from community college to PhD), instructors, and practitioners. COPAA is an important sponsor.
This conference represents the culmination of a year-long effort by Anthropology's Career Readiness Commission. The conference features speakers from the Commission's leadership as well as anthropologist and journalist Gillian Tett (The Financial Times). It also includes 12 workshops focused on preparation for careers beyond the academy.
Our registration fees are reasonable: $25 for students, $40 for instructors and practitioners. Please be advised that registration is
• on a first-come first-served basis (we will cap the number of attendees)
• non-refundable once registrants have paid.
