Figure Out How to Partner with a Practitioner

Updated: Sep 19, 2019

The Visiting Fellow Program provides an excellent opportunity for COPAA departments to partner with an experienced practitioner and work together on an area of mutual interest. Dr. Elizabeth Briody is a key member of the team creating a “Space for Practice” applied anthropology lab at Purdue University. With this special Space, we hope to offer our field some innovative and creative forms of pedagogy and new ways to engage with communities and organizations as we build the Anthropology of Tomorrow. This rich collaboration is helping us work towards achieving our mission of “A Space for Practice: Building Anthropology Networks and Impact into the Future”. We encourage other COPAA departments to take advantage of the Visiting Fellow Program and all that it has to offer.
