This is an example of a search menu option. This version has the search parameter set to name, so you can search by people's names only. The parameter can be set to search any of the columns in the database (name, email, organization, type of collaboration). I believe it would be possible to make the search crawl the entire database, and make anything searchable, but this is much more complicated for code and will take some more time.
